Boys are often eager to grow up. They yearn to play with weapons and feel more like adults. But are they truly prepared to handle the responsibilities and challenges that come with adulthood? Meet Ricky, a teenage boy who comes across a sword he’s taken a liking to at a renaissance fair. However, due to being accompanied by his mom, he’s unable to purchase the weapon. Determined, Ricky returns the next day with his friend Paul, where they finally acquire the coveted sword. Unfortunately, Paul’s father is too preoccupied with his own recreational activities to notice the trouble the boys are getting themselves into.
